$0.99 Gourmet

The NY Times has two very interesting articles about gourmet cooking on the cheap.

Here, the writer spends a week eating only what he can prepare from ingredients found at NYC $0.99 stores.

And here, gourmet seafood chef, Eric Ripert, creates recipes using $0.99 store finds.
