Remote Pocket Pillow

By far the most attractive incarnation of on-sofa remote storage I've ever seen. The only problem: I need like 5 of these.

Today's Obsession: Poetic Glassware Storage

This rustic little shelf of glassware is absolutely beautiful. The sleek glasses are a wonderful counterpoint to the cabin-y, handmade feel of the rack.

It was hanging in the shop attached to the Le Gamine cafe in New York, which has since closed. So, it's unlikely to be available for sale anywhere.

I suppose you could replicate it with a little ingenuity. Which sort of sucks because I want it now.

DIY Gallery Space

Black built-in shelves really show off these white platters. But you don't need shelves to get the gallery look.

Silk Felt Soil has a how-to that requires only a little paint and some molding.

A Tiskit, a Tasket, a Modern Flower Basket

I love this modern, acrylic flower basket for only $28 at The Gardner.

It's designed to allow you to pick (or buy), carry, and display flowers all in one place. I'd love to use it as a simple centerpiece for my dining table.

Graffiti Print Tray

I love this black/graffiti lacquered tray from West Elm.

It's hidden away with their new holiday decor. Can you believe it's that time of year again?

The Pack of Dogs Project from NEL

NEL has designed several pieces of furniture shaped like dogs. All of the pieces are multi functional, acting as shelves, magazine racks, stools, end tables, or whatever comes to mind.

I think they're adorable.

"The Family" Wallpaper

Here's another take on the fill-your-own-frame wallpaper concept from Stockholm based designer, Lisa Bengtsson.

Like Design*Sponge, I prefer the look of the paper with out photos added. But the innovation that really caught my eye is this framed doorknob.

Adding colorful hooks for hanging purses, jackets and jewelry is a great way to make this pattern pop without cluttering the simple beauty of the bold graphics.

You can purchase the paper online here or here.

Cityscape Magazine Holders

Hoarding magazines can be done with a little style. So long as your planning a trip to Sweden.

These Cityscape magazine holders were created exclusively for the Swedish Museum of Architecture.

Shelf Shelf

This is a very cool shelf that spells out shelf. I ran across this design by Da-Eun Song on Yanko Design, but can't find anything about where to buy it or if it's available for sale.

Quad Shelving from Contraforma

The coolest all-in-one media storage shelf ever.

Ceramic Boat Cleats as Towel Hooks

A very cool towl-hook via Apartment Therapy. These would also make sleek coat hooks.
